Shortly after breaking up with Lana, Rusev injured his leg pretty
badly, but remained on TV to pine after her. He eventually tried to move
on with Summer Rae. Lana tried messing with Rusev by getting together
with Dolph Ziggler. At first Ziggler went along with the ride, knowing
that he was merely being used, but later he and Lana decided that they
had feelings for each other. Around that time, Rusev revealed he was
back to full strength and put Ziggler on the shelf.
Since Ziggler’s actually been off filming a movie and isn’t actually
injured, we’re due to have him back any day now to set up the big
SummerSlam match.
